acme3k

A modern, usable fork of acme2k, itself a fork of plan9port's acme.
Differences from acme2k
- Runtime configuration via
~/.acmerc— no recompilation, only restart. - Themes via
@include, so colors and fonts can live in separate files. - Extra keybindings: arrow keys, Home/End, Ctrl+C/X/V/Z/Y, Delete.
- Newcol / Newrow toggle via
newcolnewrow. - Cool column buttons and cool scrollbar background as eye candy.
- Show/hide dotfiles in directory windows.
- and much more
Requirements
- plan9port with
/usr/local/plan9/binin$PATH(forrc,win,9p, etc.).
Building
./install.sh
install.sh copies o.acme to /usr/local/bin/acme.
Configuration
See man acme (section CONFIGURATION). Short version:
~/.acmerc:
shell /bin/rc
autoindent yes
@include .acmethemes/ghibli
All keys, defaults, and the @include mechanism are documented in the man page.
